I have published the default Login module to the "Login" position.  However, clicking on Login on the site still does nothing.  The site can be found at:

http://hartley.site5.com/~easchool/

Any ideas?

Hello,

The S5 Box module must be published to all pages for it to work.

I'm having the same issue... I just published log in to "log in" position and have published s5 box to all pages and in the "log in" position and having no luck. What next or what step have I missed?

I published s5_box to all pages in the login module position, like the last post, to no avail.  Still not working.

Hello,

Make sure you have the following completed:

1. The login module is published to the "login" position.
2. The S5 Box module is published to all pages to the debug position
3. In the template configuration page you need to setup a Login title text.

Hi Mike,

I have done exactly as you told:

1.) Login module is published to login position;
2.) S5 Box module is published to debug position on all pages;
3.) Login title text setup in Template Configuration, used default 'Login' text.

When clicking the login link it does not do anything. Please could you assist with this. Some info:

a.) Running Joomla 1.5.20;
b.) University Template;
c.) Mootools Upgrade plugin disabled;
d.) Mootools 1.12 ticked [used it both ways, 1.2.4 ticked with Mootools plugin enabled - does not make a difference].

Your assistance will be much appreciated!

Thx
Peter

It would also be much appreciated if you could assist in implementing the registration button located next to the login button.

Thx indeed
Peter

Hello,

I am looking at your source code and I don't see the actual module published. Please make sure the following are done:

1. The register module is published to all pages to the "reigster" position.
2. The login module is published to all pages to the "login" position.

If those are true try publishing the s5 box module to the "user7" position.

Hi Mike,

I have definetely published the login module to the login position...I have tried both the jquery and s5 effect, but the outcome is the same...I am not worried about the register module position, they work of the smae principal, so once the login module is functioning I will move onto the register module position.

It seems as if the mootools script is not loading... is this a know issue? I use other templates, designed and developed by other developers, with similiar functionality...it seems to be working fine. This is the first time that I have implemented a shape5 template, with such a functionality.

I will try some more, and keep you up to date if I managed to resolve something.

Thx
Peter

Hello,

This module uses jquery so the mootools won't matter. If you can private message me super admin access I can look into this for you.

Hi Mike,

any new feedback on this matter?

Thx

Hi Mike,

just for the sake of all the others viewing this topic. I managed to get both the Login and Register Functionality to work...to problem on the site was the GTranslate Module. I experienced similiar problems with other module excuting using jquery strings.

To confirm:

1.) Assigned Login Module to Login Position...Shape 5 Register Module to Register position;

2.) Ensured that the text for both the login and register position has be inserted (template manager);

3.) Publised S5 Box to debug position;

4.) Disabled GTranslate.

Thx
Peter

Hi Mike and others,

some feedback...

On the site: http://www.julianmuller.co.za (I got the login and register module) working as described in my previous post. Before I got the latter site working, I installed the template on http://www.peternagel.co.za to check, and it immediately worked, that is when I realized that GTranslate is causing this problem.

There is a difference between the two site, although setup exactely the same, with regard to the look of the drop down box:

a.) http://www.julianmuller.co.za drop down box both white background as expected;

b.) http://www.peternagel.co.za dark grey, nothing is really visible...

Any ideas?

Peter

Hello,

I checked both of your sites and they both appeared the same to me. Can you post a screenshot of the problem?

go to the template manager, then click the template, and you will be able to edit :) as for mootools, i wouldn't bother upgrading, and this module will not be fixed by upgrading.

yep, i can get to the template ok. What exactly do I edit? Is it one of the template files or the sub menu text labels or something else?

thanks :)

You can find it in the template paramters when you click the template :)
