SECURITY! that's right shout it like you're a small night club owner about to take on a team of huge drunken cage fighters.

Anyway, moving on from my brief banter of always hearing the word security shouted by a scared nightclub owner, I need help with my Joomla! security.

I want to turn off error reporting.  Host says I can't have access to php.ini.  Silly host.  Now I know there must be a way to do it anyway, which I suggest may be via .htaccess.  Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Eoin

Hello,

Usually if a host doesn't allow changing this your htaccess settings will be over-written by the host's settings. I am not aware of a way around this.
