: eShopper - Background colours
: warcry May 16, 2011, 04:05:34 PM
Hello, I am thinking of buying eShopper template and I would like to know more infos about the background colours customization.
In the demo site (http://www.shape5.com/demo/eshopper/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=197&Itemid=228) it says
Need your own custom color or background image? Not a problem, this template allows you to set your own custom highlight color to any color you wish. This highlight color controls titles, hyperlinks, menu items, and several other elements. This color can easily be set in the template configuration area. Click on each image to see a live demo.
And under that there are examples of the different colours.
I want to know if is it possible to easily change the background (currently black in demo) colour with another colour and/or an image.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Yes, the background can be changed fairly easily. It is created by just two images. You would simply modify the ones there or upload your own to replace them. We can assist you with this after you become a member.

Ok, thanks for the answer. Because I consider buying this template, it looks great and very customable, I would like to make some more specific questions and I would like to have some answers to these:

1) When I am buying eShopper joomla template in the price it is included all and only those S5 extentions that are shown in the demo, right? If for example, I need "S5 Drop Down Cart" I have to pay separately for that?
2) Can "S5 Simple Cart" co-exist with "S5 Drop Down Cart" ? I like very much the first one, but eShopper gives the second.
3) Can the page width (which is 960px, right?) change? If yes, is it easy?
4) Is there an easy way to add Google Analytics tracking from the template admin panel?
5) Please can you provide me more infos about the "S5 Tab Show" of eShopper template? I need to know the appearances that it can take..!
6) Can I put a module (or more) at the right of "S5 Tab Show" as it is in the demo, so that it can co-exist with the module?
7) Are you going to release any eCommerce template for June? (I mean should I wait until June?)

Please answer me to all 7 questions, very important for me all of them!
Thanks!!

Hello,

1. Yes, all extensions are included
2. I wouldn't recommend combining the two. They are both built off of the same platform and may cause some issues
3. Yes, you can change this in the template configuration very easily
4. There are joomla extensions that do this for you. You can find them at extensions.joomla.org
5. I am not sure I understand what you mean about the tab show?
6. Yes, you can publish one next to it. A complete list of positions can be found here:

http://www.shape5.com/demo/eshopper/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=14&Itemid=90

7. No, June will not be an ecommerce template.

5) What I mean is how does "S5 Tab Show" works? You put tabs (up to how many?) and each tab can be any module you want?
6) Ok, so if I put a module next to it, then the tab show becomes smaller and for example its first tab which is "Featured products" will show 3 products insteed of 5 ? (or something similar)

And one more, in the demo of eShopper, the live search doesn't work. Is it any issue of the demo or am I missing something? I tried an other demo and it works there.

Hello,

5. You can add up to 10 tabs. The tabs are simply modules. You publish any module to the tab's slides and they are then published within the slides.

6. You would just adjust the size of the tab show in it's backend, there is a width parameter.

The live search module is not installed on the eshopper demo. This is the VM product search module which does not have ajax functions.
