: template wont let me install : cupcake84 August 08, 2008, 11:45:09 PM For one ever tutorial says unzip the files and the select it but i don't get how if you unzip it you select a file and it installs the whole thing, and when i try to upload the xtml file it says this installation file not found:

In the backend of Joomla you can install a template. Just browser for the zip file and click upload and Joomla will do all the work for you.

: Re: template wont let me install : mikek August 09, 2008, 01:58:17 PM There is most likely a server issue going on. This often happens if your server times out or there is a permission problem. You can try unzipping the template locally on your computer. The folder name should be the name of the template with no spaces ie: edenrock, bliss, gamevision, businesslook etc. Then upload that entire folder to your template folder through an ftp client.
