: password doesn't work after demo content install : whepburn August 23, 2008, 06:49:46 PM This makes no sense to me, but when I installed demo content a few minutes ago and now my admin password doesn't work. I checked the configuration file and the password is still there. What could have happened? Thanks

: Re: password doesn't work after demo content install : drumz0rz September 24, 2008, 12:41:51 PM If I were to install Joomla 1.5, configure it but never set anything up, then install the siteshaper over it (replacing everything) but not using the install, and keeping my original config.php, would it change my mySQL database at all or would my admin user/pass still be intact?

It needs the information in the database to function. You'd have to assign the template, then you'd have to reinstall any modules used.
