: Per Menu Level Configuration and Saved Configuration Presets

Hi there Shape5, I have been a long time user of Yootheme and Rocket theme templates, but recently I took a close look at all the frameworks and decide to try Joomshapers Helix framework and your Shape5 framework. I am now looking to switch all my
designs, to the use your Shape5 vertex framework, as it seems to be the best of them all.

The only thing, as far as I can tell, that seems better than Vertex is Gantry's ability to do per menu item configurations of the template and the ability to save custom configurations as presents. This would be very useful in the Vertex framework also. Please let me know if you have any plans to include these features.

Also is it possible to include modules inside the registration & login pop ups. I am looking to use Janrain.com's social login system via this module ( http://extensions.joomla.org/search?q=search...janrain&q=janrain ) alongside joomla's login and registration, so this would be very useful also.

Other than that congratulations, on what I believe is now the best template framework in Joomla overall. I can't wait to start building sites with Vertex and am looking forward to seeing what improvements are made in future.

Hello,

I believe you are referring to the ability to save preset styles on a per menu item basis. This was not built in because this is now a default feature of Joomla 1.7. You can save multiple pre-set styles directly through the template manager in Joomla 1.6+ and then assign them to specific menu items. Since this is a default feature of the CMS now, we thought it would be redundant or even confusing for some users to have it in two locations. Anyway, that's the explanation of why it's not in there :)

Yes, you can publish other modules to the s5 box. You would simply just publish them to either the 'login' or 'register' module positions. Those are the positions that show inside of the box. On our demos we just show the default modules there, but any module can be published to these positions.
