: Business Look w/ lots of changes - 1st Joomla! site ever, & for a client too! : lelando February 10, 2008, 08:27:50 PM First off, Kudos to the Shape 5 guys for making some really great and *functional* templates.
I've been a Graphic Designer for a while now, but had never even heard of Joomla! 'till a few months ago. Almost immediately thereafter, I got a new client who wanted all the features that Joomla! would perfectly satisfy, so I decided to give it a go and try something new for them. Due to my extreme inexperience with Joomla! or any other CMS led me to choose to modify an existing template, rather than try to build one from scratch. My search for quality templates with a layout similar to what I wanted for my client led me to Shape-5, and the Business Look template. Several things have been modified, including the opacity of the main content area, the background images, some of the fonts, and a bunch of other little changes to the PHP and CSS files. I know it isn't as drastically altered as some people might do, but for a first-timer, I am pretty proud of how much I was able to do. (patting myself on the back) oh, I guess you want the URL, huh? http://www.qd-qts.com (http://www.qd-qts.com) Hope you dig it!
