Ilan,
Each menu item will show on the module page as long as it's linked to a page. There needs to be a menu item setup first.

OK here is my problem:
I want publish a module to a specific position, say Use1, and i want it to show on specific page only. I know the option to Select Menu Item(s) from the List in the module setting. The problem is that the page i want the module to appear in, is not in any menu. Any Ideas? Ilan. |

Hello, just installing the template will not over-write your existing site. When you upload the template you will then go to your Template Manager and then assign DuoPlate as your default template. You can always switch back to your old template in the list at any time.

Hello,
1. Yes, our template are compatible with all versions of Joomla, including the most reason version. 2. Yes, they can be installed through the template manager. 3. Virtuemart is actually a component and can be installed into any Joomla template. Some of our other tmeplates have simply been designed around the component to give it a more "shop" feeling. But to answer your question Virtuemart will work with Sea of Glass. 4. The S5 No-MooMenu cannot be moved, it is statically built into the location shown on our demos. |

Hi
You have some great looking templates on your site. I am looking to build a number of sites and have just created my first using ZenCart. It hass been hard work with a number of different programmers and I will not use it again. Joomla/Virtuemart has been recommended to me and it looks great, seeing your templates makes me think it is a great idea. However, before discovering Joomla/Virtuemart I have had a designer create a website template for me. Please can you tell me if it would be possible to convert the PSD from MiniCanvas.co.uk into a Joomla template which could also be used with Virtuemart. If it would need to be amended please can you advise what would need to be changed. Also, for this to be used with Virtuemart as well, how would it work? Does Virtuemart use the same template or does it just use a basic template with the correct colors to match the home page? At the moment my PSD has been converted to 'normal' html - can this be used as it is now and then install Virtuemart to work with this? For the other sites that I plan to make it would be great to be able to use some of your templates, replace some graphics and configure the store - is it as easy as this? I can do OK with that kind of setup but not the technical programming stuff, I'd rather avoid having to work with code etc One other question - is it possible to add a sign up form for an email service like Aweber/GetResponse onto Joomla templates veryy easily? I would also like to add customers to a different list - can this be done from within Virtuemart. I would probably use GetResponse - they allow direct access to their API, so could this be made to work with Virtuemart to do this? I came across this Plugin: http://www.intellispire.com/web/Joomla/5-GetResponse-Plugin-for-Joomla-1.5/flypage.tpl.html Could this be used with your templates for Joomla and Virtuemart maybe? Sorry for so many questions Many thanks in advance Phil |

Hello, I am new to using joomla. I am wanting to use the duoplate template. When I download does this over ride my existing joomla site? I guess I am not sure what to do. I have an affiliate website. Which download should I use?

Hi, I just joined, am also quite new to Joomla but very much like the templates offered here. Before I continue into paid membership I would like to get the answers on the following questions: 1. My web site is hosted at GoDaddy which also makes it quite simple to install Joomla on a domain (they have a very easy UI to do that).Their system installs the latest Joomla version, at this time it is 1.5.7 and 1.5.8. Can you tell me if the templates you offer are compatible with the latest 1.5 versions or should I be carefull with this?? 2. Can your templates be installed simply with the Template manager which is part of Joomla or do they require special additional steps?? 3. I am interested for now in the "Sea of Gloss". Some of your templates have predefined their design for Virtuemart but my question would be if I can integrate Virtuemart in any of your templates so in my case also into the "Sea of Gloss"?? How about integration into other S5 templates?? 4. Regarding the "S5 No-MooMenu" (S5 menu system)...Can it be positioned on the module position "left" and have a vertical to horizontal menu since in the demos it always has a horizontal to vertical drop down?? Thanks in advance for the answers. |
