Hello.
I am interested in your products and really like the designs. I am curious about the specifics to the update process for extensions and templates when new versions of Joomla get published or bug fixes, etc.

I am a member at another site and the update process is anything but smooth.

I am always concerned about keeping my current site working while updating. The other update process requires finding which specific files have changed and manually updating them on the server. It always concerns me that i will overwrite a file that has custom tweaks on it and it will ruin my site.

Is yours more automated?

Can you explain the process?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Any updates that we make are found in each products forum board at the top under a topic called "Template Updates" or "Extension Updates". To be honest it's very rare that we have to make an update because of a new version of Joomla. Updates are usually because of any found css issues within the template itself and are usually very easy to fix. We post the files that were effected or an easy fix to the solution. Most of these problems are recognized within the first few weeks of a new product.
