Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is a possibility for not showing the productcategories is the content area, but only by the accordion menu....
I would just like the featured, and new products on the contentarea...and when clicking on a categorie, that it only shows the products...nothing else...

is that possible? does anyone did this befor? or tried it once and didn't make it?


I'd like to know if there are possibilities..

I'm using VM 1.1.0

What if you just don't publish a VirtueMart shop button (link to the component).  Then just put whatever content you want to display in the main joomla area (maybe only a few sentences so your featured and new product modules are the main focus, or you could leave it blank if you only what the focus on these modules), stick your featured and new products modules around the content in whatever positions you have available and the publish the VM categories module.

Right...I saw that the homepage was "an article"...so never thought about it that it was "virtuemart"

I now have made it to an article, with just the sentence "welcome to"

Now i'll publish the featured and latest product to the content area, and we are done! Cheesy
