Is it possible to run two templates on the same installation of Joomla?

I already have the take-two duo plate and I wanted to add the e-tensity to sell hyperlinks to the classes we offer.

I loaded the e-tensity but I am lost at this point.

Thanks
Tom

Yes, it is possible.

Visit the template manager and install the second template just like the first. Then simply assign each template to each menu item. Notice I said "ASSIGN" not set as Default.

If you want one template to be constant on every menu item except one or two then simply set it as default and the second, third, fourth.. etc templates by assigning them.

Enjoy,

I already have it installed and have the pages specified. (click Online at mbsre.com)

I am having trouble assigning the cart modules to just that template or getting the virtue-mart thing working.

You may have to create a few new modules, or should I say, publish the same module with a different name, and assign them to the different templates.

If you have a module, like the VM cart, that is published on all pages, you may want to rename it, to something like mod_1, configure it to work with everything using template 1, and then publish it to to the menus that use template 1. Now you can create a copy of mod_1, and name it something like mod_2, modify it to work with the second template, and publish it to work with only the menus that template 2 is set up for.

The template and module names are for us humans, while Joomla uses an id number.  Just name the modules so you can remember what each one is for, and how it is applied.
