I had a license but it recently expired. We have a site that has been under development since before my license expired.
I have the emercantilism  template for Joomla 1.5, is is set as the default template.
It's running Joomla 1.54

Virtumart Your Version: 1.1.0

We just noticed the following:

1. Go into Template Manager.

2. Click on emercantilism.

3. Click on Preview (the one with the ourglass inside of the template area.)

Instead of getting a preview with the module positions you get this errror:

500 - Unable to load renderer class

What can I do to fix the problem?

Hello,

This sounds like a Joomla problem itself as a template does not effect the preview functionality itself.  If you have SEF URLs turned on I suggest turning these off first and then see if it goes away.  If you are still are having problems I would try a new Joomla installation.
