Hello all,

I realise that this is actually a Joomla related question, which should be posted on their forum, but their forum seems to be down right now so I'll post it here till they come back online and I can do so there.

I just migrated a site from Joomla 1.0.15 to 1.5.6. Everything went find during the migration, and all the articles appear as they should. However, when I attempt to assign a new template, it just doesn't work. Strangely, ADMINISTRATIVE templates work, but not SITE templates. I first tried to assign the JA_Purity template, but when I viewed the site it still has the default template loaded. Next, I uploaded the Khepri-ReAmped administrative template and assigned that one, and it changed the backend template. But nothing works for the frontend. Just to show you that everything is set right (small images, but you get the idea) ...

ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATE

SITE TEMPLATE

ACTUAL SITE

The site is www.brackenhurstbaptist.co.za. If it has any relevance, the Joomla 1.0.15 site is actually at www.brackenhurstbaptist.org, and I am keeping it live there till I can get the 1.5 installation sorted. Could this be a problem because I migrated from one domain to another? Both domains are hosted by the same company.

Thanks in advance,

Stuart

As a temporary workaround I have found that I can delete all files in the rhuk_milkyway template folder, and upload the files for the template I want to use to that file. I then need to change all reference in the index.php file from whatever the file name is to "rhuk_milkyway" and that seems to work. So obviously the problem is that, regardless of which template I assign, it's looking in the rhuk_milkyway folder.
