Drink Green Bottles... Smoke Greener Buds!

WWW
« on: August 15, 2008, 08:33:34 PM »

is it possible to make a button that is on a transparent background, yet the button adapts to the template's CSS?

ya know what i mean..?

i want the button to adapt to the template's color scheme... so, a button for the Duo Plate church template would be brownish with black text, or something to that extent; and, a button for the CB template would be whitish with the appropriate colored text... etc.

if it is possible, could you point me to some (preferably video) tutorials?

i've never been much for graphic design, but i definently need to get this resolved asap. any help, advice and / or insight will greatly be appreciated! thank you for your time and understanding.

Much Love and Respect,

Hi, you can create any graphic or button you wish and use it in Joomla. Are you trying to use this in a content article?

No, I'm actually trying to get it to show up in the Duo Plate template next to the Member Login module (directly beneath the header image). Do you happen to know what line this would be found on?

I'm simply trying to add three (centered) buttons that open a lyte box....

Any help and insight will greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sincerely,

You would have to edit your index.php file to do this. The buttons would need to go right next to the div s5_slide_two, in other words in the code you would insert the buttons right below that divs code.

Could your provide a code snippet to insert a module position there?

That way I can use a module to drop in my <div> and image tags? This would be a lot easier and more efficient. If not, I understand. Wink

Thanks for your responses.

Never mind, now that I know how to setup the slider for Duo Plate (thanks again), I'm just going to put the buttons in the slider position. So, with that said, I guess this thread is closed. Thanks for your time, assistance and incredible service. Wink

Peace and Blessings.
