Dear friends,

I have a quantity problem with parent products on product listing. At the product details page everything works perfect for quantities.
However when you click on add to cart button on the product listing page, It warns the visitors "out of stock".. So It cannot sum up how many quantity it has over child products. Even it's not so important.Cause a customer never buys every size of an t-shirt etc. So all i wanna do is to cancel add to cart button from product listing page. How may i cancel it? Cause i have no idea? Sad

Thank you Shape5 guys.. You are awesome...

Best Regards,

Ilker,

I am not sure if there's a way to cancel the add to cart button for any product. I had looked at that page before and I know the add to cart is a submit button for the form it's on. You would have to change it somehow to a button and not a submit and have it run a function that checks quantity. Sorry, I don't have details on how to do that.

Have you tried posting to the Virtuemart forum about this? www.virtuemart.net.

Hi Ilker,

Do you just want to completely remove the add to cart button on the product list page, so none of your products on the product list page include the button?

If so, I'll check into it, this wouldn't be too hard

In your VM settings, there is an option to "Check Stock". If you have a quantities option, say you can order 5, but you only have 2 in stock, it will return the OOS error.

If you have 0 in stock, the product won't display.

In your products, either increase the stock level of the individual product, or turn off the check stock feature in the global config.
