Drink Green Bottles... Smoke Greener Buds!

I don't run Windoze anymore, so I don't have access to the Adobe Suite... And, GIMP doesn't allow me to edit the headers (where it says the template's name and gives credit to Shape5).

So, assuming I did get a copy of the Adobe Suite and installed Win. again, does the header text show up as a separate text layer? Can I just select the txt layer and insert my own text?

I figured I'd ask before I go through all the hassle...

So, any help and insight will greatly be appreciated (as always).

GIMP does in fact allow you to edit layers, but I didn't figure out how to change the text contained within the layer. So, you can just hide the layer and create a new layer with the desired text. Simple enough...

But, how do I make it so I can use the new, modified, PSD with the template? Is it similar to Dreamweaver, just save it as index.php?  ::shrugs::

Any help will greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

So, for the time being, I just went in there and edited logo.png...

But, how do I cut the PSDs apart so it slices everything into their own respective images? Is there a tutorial for this..?

Hello,

What you can do is edit the colors of the PSD until you are satisfied, then look under the file menu in Photoshop there is a "save for web" link.  Click this and you will then be shown a preview of the PSD, click save again and save into aan empty folder.  Next take all the images from this folder and place into template/images.  You will be prompted that the files already exist, overwrite all of these images and you are done!

Let me know if you still need help.
