Hi,
I purchased Photofolio few montes ago for my personal site. Now I should make a multilanguage site (with a different template) so I took a look to the backend of photofolio but the "Language Switcher" module is not present. Please let me know If there are templates with the multilanguage feature installed as in the Joomla 1.6/1.7 default specifications or I should use joomfish plugin in order to handle languages with your templates.

You could try clicking new module and see if its in there.  If not then perhaps your other site has a 3rd party language component like Joomfish on them.
