Greetings, Just a couple of questions regarding the Site Shaper....

I've installed joomla on a test domain and had issues but mostly self caused  Grin So I'm thinking site shaper might be a good way to go. Now the questions

Is this install performed the same way as a normal joomla/web based install? I'll need the db info, etc, just like a normal joomla install? I just ftp the "works" to the domain root and go from there?

Second, once installed via the site shaper method is it still possible to change to a different template later?

Sorry for the noob questions.

BTW, love some of the templates.

Hello, yes in fact the Site Shaper is just a modified version of the Joomla installer, but with our content. So it will install the same way. Once it's installed you can change the templates.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

Is site shaper available for every template or just a select number?

I'll be upgrading my membership soon, which option should I choose based on the following.

I have a personal site and I'm responsible for my employers site. So one personal and one business site.

Thanks for the help.

Hello, the site shapers are available for last 3 templates. Before that we used SQL dumps. If you are just using the products on your site it would require any of the club memberships. Since you are using it on your employer's site however, you would need a developer's license or the company can purchase a second license.

Thanks again.

I think I'll upgrade to the one year plan for myself and then upgrade to dev level if all goes well.

Let me know if that is not OK.
