Hi,
I have bought the eMercantalism template and as soon as i get it configured the next step is to think about transfering my existing data from an mssql database into mysql. I have played around a little with myphpadmin and can see that one way to do it is to copy and past my data into phpadmin tables directly

The only problem is that i do not have access to the mssql  db but can download an excel file of the data.  Another problem i foresee is how to transfer the images. currently there are named according to my own unique product codes. I have no idea how to transfer the images.

Please advise how i should attempt the data Transfer. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, believe you can import this into VirtueMart then, should be through a CSV file.  Check out their forums and site for more details.
