Hello,
I noticed a post where someone is using the accordion menu with Community Builder.  Is this correct?

I want to change the current profile tabs to an accordion menu where the content of that tab expands on hover. Will the S5 module do this?

Hello,

The accordion menu simply output menu items, it doesn't integrate with other extensions. The picture you've posted looks more like a tab module. Is that what you are looking for?
