Hi Guys

After returning to my computer, after an hours break from the Joomla forum i found out today that i was banned. I kind of am a little pissed of, well more than a little pissed of. For the past two weeks i have been using Joomla as a point to build up my Backlinks through answering newbie questions. Even though i self admit, i am not the most experienced developer and have only been doing this for 6 months, i still manage to help out most individuals and give good advice. I have never offended people online and well i try to give the best advice i can give. Now not only do i find now that well 200 odd back links i have built up through using Joomla have probably gone to waist, but also i can not user the forum anymore to answer my own development questions because they are blocking my IP address. So in the long run the only place i can find development help is through either trying to change my IP address or fining other Joomla forums that are not going to be of any help. To add to it the thing that makes it even worse i have been band until August.

All i can say is i am a little more than disapointed with Joomla. If they felt that any of my posts where not useful to the Joomla community they could at least informed me through an email and well if someone felt that i offended them they could have at least checked through my posts to find that is not the case. Anyway as i currently can not access joomla forum i can not find the email to any admins and i also can not respond and dispute the ban as the email address on the ban notice is a no-reply email. The only two explanations i can give for the band is either (1) a thread that i answered that turned into an argument between the thread started and another Joomla user. or (2) that someone has reported me because they dont feel my advise was good enough. Other than that as i said i have not done anything to result in a ban.

Personally i would like a response from a Joomla admin for this problem. The liable case is i will not get an email respose to the enquire from an admin. So in that case i would like to hear, whether anyone else on here have experienced a simular problem? or on the other hand whether someone can give me Joomla email to at least get this issue solved.

To add to this response if i dont get any responses from people. Do not waist your time with helping people out on the Joomla forum form now on you will just waist your time. This has really changed my view over Joomla and will have to reconsider using them any other time in the future.
