Sport Template

I would like to recommend creating a sports theme template. One that can switch out the themes
for different sports. Specifically, I would like surf, water sports, etc.

Sorry for the delay one of sites I wanted to show you was down for repair.

Here one template that's got the "overall" layout:

Here's a couple of Joomla sites that I've done:
1. www.bigkahunasurf.com
2. www.askdabigkahuna.com

There are a few design concepts that this crew likes:
1. large rotating pic galleries to put up latest pics or store specials
2. site backgrounds or module/icon backgrounds that can be changed out
3. backgrounds that are organic or edgy (water, wood, etc.)

to tag along on this thread if thats ok...

Sports are HUGE business - little leagues, soccer camps, football programs, etc.

I think it would be a huge bonus to have the template go down 2 different roads.
A. Extreme Sports (Dark Version)

Skiing
Surfing
Sky Diving
Scuba Diving
Snowboarding
Skate boarding
Wind Surfing

B. Mainstream Sports (Light Version)

Football
Baseball
Basketball
Soccer
Hockey
Volleyball
Golf

If this were a Template option I would seriously consider purchasing a Full Membership & I'm sure you'd see more do the same.

Thanks I actually never thought about that, I've only ever thought of Sports news (professional sports) but doing small local league sites is a good idea!

Newbie 1st post..

I run Pro Golf Academy in the San Antonio area. While we do cater to adult golfers, we specialize in junior golf programs. Our niche is after school junior golf programs, camps & clinics, private lessons and junior golf league (tour). I have struggled for several years now trying to find the right solution. I have also witnessed just about every school and other program providers struggle with the whole childrens camp/sport/league/activity management issues. From online registration to employee/coach training marketing & management.

I have been pulling my hair out and was even considering going with ProStores to have a database and simple shopping cart with online registration for our services and have the ability to offer products both physical & digital. My current site is a Drupal site which I manage myself but have no experience doing so. I've been looking at Joomla and I'm very impressed with the Shape 5 team's work. If the needs of my unique business model could be addressed, it could have far reaching implications and make the world a better place

To mention a few of the issues/needs we have:

online registration for single & ongoing events
attendance rosters and reports
coaches and staff training and scheduling
online calendar
forum and classifieds
members only area for additional content, videos, downloads, etc
database
photo gallery and pictures sales
shopping cart with quickbooks integration
physical products and digital downloads, dvd and books
blog/newsletter
SEO
league management
ebay integration
lots and lots of pictures, video, audio and content articles, etc

I am really looking for help and could provide the labratory for a very powerful and widely needed application/solution. Something like this could be used for all sports, music lessons, cheerleading, boy scouts, chess clubs, bowling leagues, after school programs, summer camps, etc.

Sports Templates are is very attractive for the viewers in the pages which has been destined very care fully by the designers with a creative method.It is the very useful feature for the web templates i have seen the most of the sites has done this in the better way.
