Pls if you could assist me with this id be utmost grateful... I have baught two themes/ subscriptions from you in the past. The owner asked me to have a blog page on her WORDPRESS website. www.blissofbalance.comBy doing that I need to choose "Static page" for frontpage and then choose which page my blog would be on. Therefore creating what she wanted. Now what I see is that this template works only with posts as the front page in General settings. Is that right? Is there a way / shortcut in which i can accomplish a simple blog page without tampering with the core functions? Thanks a lot You are a star ****

Hello,
For questions related to Salon and Spa you will need to have an active subscription and post in the Salon and Spa - Wordpress forum for support. Once your membership expires so does product support and downloads. This is to be fair to other members who are currently "active" club members. We offer 15% off any any renewals which will give you access to our Club Boards for questions as well as downloads again.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi
I dont intend on asking you any more questions. I have finished the site months ago.
The client requested two things and you could really help a gilr out instead of me having to pay you for two minor questions.
I allready subscribed twice to your subscritions.
The least you can do is answer these two things.

Hi Jonahh Thanks for the reply. The lady just wants to write a post or a few posts (on one page) and wants people to comment and write their own comments underneath. I read this article which tell you how to to set it up but I cant do that with the way your theme is set up. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-create-a-blog-pageI would appreciate any assistance Thank you so much

As explained in the WP support topic you linked to: Just create a new blank page titled 'Blog', then set 'Blog' as the 'Posts page:' in Admin->Settings->Reading under 'Front page displays'.

Messed up how? To set a static homepage, you have to actually assign a specific page for both Home and for Blog. You may have to reconfigure where your widgets are assigned to appear as well, if they're not showing on the new page(s).

Messed up how? There is nothing on the page except the logo and 2 posts...typically not what i want. I need it to look exactly the same as it did. What do you suggest? Take a page - any page and put all the widgets on that page? Possible OR NOT? Thanks

Widgets won't appear if they haven't been assigned, you'll need to make sure you've set any desired widgets to be visible on that page before they can appear there.
