Greetings,
I inserted some custom module positions on Emusica template and styled them with css... here on www.soundguardian.com
Everything works fine except when I scroll page down (just little bit from the top) dropdown menu boxes open above main menu links (photo in attachment)

I figured out that problem is with these css classes
Code:
.group:before, .group:after {
    content: "";
    display: table;
}
.group:after {
    clear: both;
}

When  I remove this CSS, submenu opens right, but modules colapse then... and when CSS is active modules show right, but submenu opens wrong.
If somebody could help me with this, I would be very happy.
Thanks,
Sasa

Hello,

Emusica is a paid/club template and you currently have a free account.  You would need to upgrade your account to a paid status in order to receive support on this.

Thanks,

Hello,

Can you grab fresh download files for the template and overwrite the js/s5_flex_menu.js file?  I believe this was fixed but I can't remember in there or with CSS. If that doesn't work let me know

Ok yes what you added is messing up the site and like you said removing fixes it.  It appears you have some sort of module or module group that isn't standard to this template.  I see the following:

Code:
<div class="section group">

with these inside:

col span_1_of_3, col span_2_of_3, etc

So I would just remove this and edit the header in the index.php file as it was included and unpublish this module.  If you wanted this to work with the template you would need to hire someone to custom code this for you as the template out of the box works fine its just that this module you've added up there is breaking the menu

Hello,
it is not the modules that are messing template, but it's css styling...
Please, I need to have those three modules somehow placed above menu... is there a way i can insert those custom module positions above so the menu dropdown to work properly.
Thanks,

Hello,

As stated the CSS styling you have added is overriding the display in a way that is breaking the menu system. We do not provide support debugging for custom user additions but Jonah has identified the coding that is problematic for you. You would need to hire a coder to properly implement your coding designs in a way that does not override the Template layouts.

Hello,
It is not that I won't have a chance to use my renewed subscription with your excellent products, but I stated in my first post that I have problems with custom modules I inserted and pointed CSS that is making problems... and i renewed my subscription just because you told me that I have to be paid customer for this kind of support.

You just could have told me at the beginning that you do not give support with custom stuff inserted... and I would then try to find help somewhere else...
Thanks,
Sasa

Hello,

Unfortunately our support is only for the core product itself, not for custom positions or user modified coding. Jonah identified the coding that was problematic and causing the issues for you but you would personally have to modify the coding for your custom modules to work properly with the menu systems. Using .col spans is not something you would want to do in your module as this can cause issues with other areas of the Joomla that use these classes.

If you try adding just simple HTML text to the Custom Modules you shouldn't have any issues with menu alignment. Then as you add styling/html check to make sure your coding isn't overriding anything from the Joomla or Template core.
