I have accordion menu installed on a Joomla 3 site.

When I click a link in the 2nd or 3rd sections, the menu always returns to opening the first section submenu. How do I make it stay open on the submenu containing the link that was just clicked? It seems if I click a link in the 2nd section, the submenu of the 2nd section should remain open.

Thanks!

Here's a link to one of the pages. Menu is in left column.

Hello,

I viewed your site but I am not following what issue you are having. Can you please provide a step by step instructional on how to replicate the problem?

Go to the page
Page loads with the first submenu open, Engineering. That's correct.
Click Operations to reveal Operations submenu items.
Click Operations Management.
Page loads with Engineering submenu open - This is what I thought would be different.

I thought if I opened the Operations Management page, the Operations submenu would remain open. I've used other accordion menus that have worked that way.

Hello,

Are you using the latest version of the Accordion Menu? Also the Accordion Menu can only fetch "active" menus if it is linked to the main menu of the site. Can you try changing the Accordion Menu to "Main Menu" and then click one of the links to see it it detects as active state and opens the correct tab?

I just purchased and downloaded the menu, so I assume it is the latest version.

It makes no sense on this site to make that menu the main menu. The links in that menu are aliases to the main menu.
