Dear Sir/Madam Smiley

I need to take a decision on purchasing a university template.

Do you have WCAG 2.0 compliant version of Campus Life?

Since 1/1/2016 WCAG compliance is obligatory for all university web-sites.

When do you plan to develop compliant version?

Thank you

Hello,

I just took a look at the standards at a glance and I would say it at least meets a large majority if not all:
https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG20/glance/

It sounds like it just needs to be easy readable and accessible content. We strive to do this throughout all our designs. The one feature was "give users enough time to read content". This could reference things like our image fader that rotates between slides with a set interval. This interval can be changed in the admin of the module if you need to increase the display time of each slide.

Things like this requirement "Provide text alternatives for any non-text content so that it can be changed into other forms people need, such as large print, braille, speech, symbols or simpler language" can be achieved by using our font resizer feature and outputting this on the page to allow users to increase the font size.

Dear John,

you can compare your templates with your competitor: https://www.joomla-monster.com/joomla-templates/i/26-education/131-jm-university

WCAG requirements require contrast version of site.

Oh ok I do see the contrast option, yes this option we don't have in Campus life. Unfortunately this isn't something we plan on adding though at this time. If you hired this out to someone it really isn't a hard thing to ask. Just some CSS and some JavaScript to create the onclick switch to the CSS for high contrast.
