I built https://www.kauai-mopeds.com and they just purchased a new domain to sell motorcycles.
When I export the zip package of the moped site with the mysql and import them into the new site it clones everything and both sites mirror each other. Thus if I make a change to the moped site, it changes it on the motorcycle page and vice versus. I of course changed the mysql user name and database in the configuration.php.

Does anyone know why the sites mirror themselves and why I am able to edit them individually?

Thanks for any support.

Hello,

The only way one site could change the details of the other is if they are both pointing to the same database, which is controlled in the configuration.php file. I can't think of any other way for that to happen. I would suggest contacting your hosting provider on this as well.

I agree, I have done this plenty of times with other sites without any issues and I know that the config file is correct with the new database. I will contact the hosting and see if we can figure it out.

Thanks for the support.
