Shape5 should seriously consider offering both a light and a dark version of each of its templates.  I say this because there are a lot of new "Template Chooser" options that allow the users of a site to select their preferred template.

I have users on my site that prefer the lighter look over the darker look for websites. I prefer the darker look, and am using the "Sea of Glass" template. However, several of my professional users want a light version. Given the fact that module positions, content positions, headers, logos, etc... vary from one template to another, it is hard to give one's users/members a choice of templates.  That is why I have made this suggestion.

Also, I am looking for a graphics designer capable of making professional background images for use on my shape5 templates. I will of course pay for the services, provided the services are reasonably priced. We are a non-profit American Civil rights group.

Perhaps the Shape5 gang should implement another program, or blog system where Shape5 members can offer services to one another. Either for money, or in exchange for mutual assistance.  The possibilities are limitless with offering services like this. I think there's some job posting modules/components for joomla too that shape5 could install here.

Okay, nuff said.

Thanks.

TMax.

Hey TMax,

Thanks for the suggestions.  In regards to the members offering services to one another, this is actually in the works.  We plan to have this feature on our site in the future, most likely a new site design will be rolled out with it too.
