Hi- I am a designer, and tried, but can't master Joomla, so would like to transfer my acct to my friend who will be doing the coding for me- should I simply change the contact info for him, or is there another way to do this?

Hello, yes the easiest way would be to change the contact information to his under the Member Info tab.
