This month we decided to put in as many options as possible. 21 color styles, 66 module styles, 68 typography options, brand new Have It Your Way options and so much more really puts Bliss in a category by itself!

Maybe you're new to Joomla or maybe you don't have too much experience programming, or perhaps you are a programmer and you wish that template configuration could be easier. Well look no further, this month we are introducing the Have It Your Way options. These features allow you to customize your template exactly how you want it without touching a line of code. All you have to do is answer a series of questions through the configuration and that's it. We've spent hours fine tuning the questions to make them as user friendly as possible to make template customization as easy as possible!

The top menu is a great way to add links to the main suckerfish menu. If you have pages that don't need to be displayed in the mainlevel but they are still important this is a great place to put those links! It also helps cut down on the clutter of the main menu. If nothing is published to the top position then the bar will be hidden.

To setup a menu in the top position:

• Publish a menu to the 'top' module position.
• Set the menu class to -submenu (make sure to use the - in front)
• Set the style to Flat List.
• Click the Save button at the top of the module screen and you're done.

Due to all the color themes and options we put into Bliss it was difficult getting it all into one install. Because most browsers time out at short intervals the Bliss installation of all 21 themes can time out easily. BUT don't worry we've come up some solutions, pick one of the two below that you feel comfortable with.

• Option 1 - Bliss has been split into three template installation packages, each containing 7 color styles. If you know which style you want to use follow these steps:

• Download the installation package that contains the color style that you wish to use.
• Once the download is complete go to the backend of Joomla.
• Navigate through your menu system to Installers/Templates - Site
• Once at the installation screen click the browse button and navigate to where you downloaded the template file.
• Once you have the file sected click 'Upload File and Install'

        The template is now installed, now let's set it as the default template:


• Navigate through your menu system to Site/Template Manager/SiteTemplates.
• Find the radio button next to the newly installed template.
• Click on the Default button at the top right of the screen and you're done!

• Option 2 - If you want all 21 color styles installed at the same time you can, but you won't be able to use the Joomla installation component. If you want all 21 styles installed follow these steps:

• Download the installation package that contains all 21 color styles.
• Once the download has completed upload the entire installation package to the following directory on your server: <live site>/templates/

          (you will need to do this through your server's cpanel or ftp client) 

• Once the file is there extract the contents (most cpanels have an extraction method built right in)

        The template is now installed, now let's set it as the default template:


• Login to the backend of Joomla.
• Navigate through your menu system to Site/Template Manager/SiteTemplates.
• Find the radio button next to the newly installed template.
• Click on the Default button at the top right of the screen and you're done!

The Shape 5 Slide Tab is powered by S5 Effects. S5 Effects are written from scratch and you will not receive any conflictions with other javascript libraries such as mootools with your modules or components. This tab is great for hiding and showing content. Content can easily be hidden to clear up wanted screen space.

How to get content into the tab? Setup is very simple for this tab, there isn't any setup! Simply publish any module to the User1, User2 or User3 position and the tab will automatically appear. If nothing is in any of those three positions then the tab disappears completely. Simple right?

Don't worry about sizes either, the tab automatically stretches to the height of the tallest module inside of it. 

The default position -  In the Have It Your Way template configuration options you have the ability to have the tab open or closed on first initial page load. After the first page load it is loaded by a cookie created on the viewer's computer. 

Tab text -  Also through the Have It Your Way options you can change the text of the tab.
