S5 Slider Box

The S5 Box Slide is simply another way to hide away certain modules that possibly take up valuable real estate or you simply just don't need visible at all times. It's quite similar to the S5 Box only it slides out from the left expanding down and to the right.

This is the "newsflash" module position. You can publish modules to the "cpanel" position and they display just as the member login form has. NOTE: The S5 Box Slide will only appear when content is published to either the "newsflash and "cpanel" position.

Best of all both S5 Slider Box's are powered by S5 Effects so this means no script conflictions!

There is one configuration you need to make in the template configuration:

  • You will need to assign titles to each of the tabs. You will see a section at the very bottom where you can name each of the 19 tabs.

Joomla 1.0 requires you to setup 19 new module positions, but it's easy and only takes seconds. Here's how you do it:

  • Login to the backend of Joomla.
  • Navigate through the menu system to Site/Template Manager/Module Positions
  • Starting at the first blank position field enter s5_tab2 as a name (Joomla main content is tab1).
  • Continue adding s5_tab3, s5_tab4 in the next fields up to s5_tab20
  • Click the save button in the upper right hand corner and you're done!

I like what I see! I want to join today.
