eWorld includes a Javascript PNG fixer that will enable transparent PNGs in IE6. The Javascript will be ignored by all other browsers.
You have the option to turn off the png fixer. This fix was included to enable transparent pngs in Internet Explorer 6. By default it is on, but you do not have to use it, simply change set the option to "no" in the template configuration, see below:
