I had a client ask me the following... does anyone know if it can be done via an extension... this is a news site... and client would want the news a person would like to see appear...

"it would be great if the site could ?learn? what frequent visitors were interested in and automatically prioritize the information presented to people when they come to the site. "

When you upgrade from 1.5 to 2.5 you must uninstall and reinstall the newer version of the Template. Also note that newer versions have a feature in the Template Manager that allows you to hide articles on the front page (component) Make sure this isn't selected as on as it may be hiding your articles that way.

Also if you are using a 3rd party tool to upgrade your site note that these often have a ton of bugs with them and can cause site issues. We recommend using a fresh copy of J2.5 rather than upgrading to avoid database corruption due to the poor coding of these extensions.

That means you are logged in with another username on your ipad. Your paid username will appear in the login area next to where it says Welcome.

Thanks Mike! That did the trick. BTW, I did a comparison of the CSS on the site and the CSS from the original ZIP file I downloaded from Shape 5. The 2 were identical. Maybe a fix was posted after I had made my purchase. No matter, it's working properly now. Thanks again for the support.

I have sites that are having the similar issue when I upgrade from 1.5 to 2.5 and template no longer functions the same.
Can  you point me to some direction so I can try to fix it? At least to get the main pieces working such as frontpage article is not showing up on the 2.5 site after upgrade.

The PSDs are available for download Here.

Frontpage Display works fine with WP, but you may need a newer theme to properly integrate it; the older themes don't have styling overrides built in to make the plugins look better.
