Hello all

I hope someone is able to help me..

I just intalled Joomfish, and some languages for the program..

When I went to Article Manager for translating an article, something really strange happend: All the boxes are gone.. So it isn't possible to mark something e.g for "Edit", "Delete" etc... Because the little box is gone..

I am not sure if it was because of the Joomfish installation it crashed, but it was around the same time. I tried to uinstall Joomfish, but the problem stay.

I really hope someone know the solution for this problem?

To localize the problem more excactly, I tried to install the same template (incl. modules, articles etc) in a new folder on the domain, and the same problem appear..

Do anyone know how to get the boxes back?

Another try:
I deleted whole the website, so all changes is lost.. I downloaded the Sportopolis - Site Shaper again, unzipped the file, converted all files to my folder on my domain. After installing joomla, I logged in as administrator, and there are still no boxes! Everything should be resetted, but seem like it isn't??

Hello,

Before you install joomfish everything is still showing correctly? If so, that would be an issue with the Joomfish component, I would suggest contacting it's developer to see if it is a known issue.

It is also before I install Joomfish.

I deleted my site completely.

Downloaded the Sportopolis site shaper.

Unzipped the file

Transfered it to my domain, so my website was on www.mydomain.dk/Site_Shaper_Sportopolis

Filled all the information and clicked "Install demo site" on the last step.

When I went to administrator, there were still no boxes.

I dont understand this, as it worked first time I downloaded it, and as I deleted all old files and started from beginning everything should have been reseted?

After several tries with Sportopolis, I now tried to install another template (with the demo install)

This worked first time..

Beside that.. I also had problems to find a thing so simple like the Main menu in the Sportopolis, on the new template it showed up in the menu manager.

So I guess that there might be a problem with the Sportopolis template?

Hello,

I am not sure how that would be possible. A template has no control over the backend of Joomla, in fact no interaction at all. You can try upgrading the Joomla installation of the site shaper after you've installed to see if that makes a difference.

Hey I tried to install an update for joomla, but no luck..

I did a mistake.. I didn't meant the Sportopolis template, but the Sportopolis Site Shaper.. Which is including the installation file etc.. Where all modules, extentions are installed like on the demo site. Im just wondering it works correctly, when I download another site shaper think it was one for E-commerce I tried- and I did excactly the same things when installing as when I install the Sportopolis.
