Pre-Sales Questions

 Hello guys,

I am interested in buying Avignet Dream
(http://www.shape5.com/demo/avignet_dream/ex2/)
 template, but before I proceed any further I need your answers to the
following questions:

1. Can this template support a number of 30.000 absolute unique visitors
 per day if is installed on Joomla 1.5.22 engine?

2. Could you change template's name (all files involved) for me?
For example I would like all files renamed like this:
....../templates/avignet_dream/favicon.ico =
....../templates/jurnaldefrumusete/favicon.ico

3. Could this template support  a large number of articles published?
When I say large, I mean over 100.000.

Hello,

1. The template would not have control over this. This would depend on the specs of the server you are hosting on. I would suggest checking with your host to see if there is a daily limit.

2. Yes, you could do that with some simple find replaces after it's installed.

3. Same as #1, the template wouldn't effect this. That would be more related to Joomla and if there are any database restrictions on your server. I don't see anything that would prohibit Joomla from doing it though.

You would need to edit two file: index.php and the template's xml file in an editor like notepad and do a find replace for "avignet_dream" and replace it with your own text.

Mike, I have also downloaded the Avignet Dream template and installed it on my website scchosenone.com

Do you mean, I have to change the words " Avignet Dream" in all places it appears in index.php and template's xml.

Can I edit template's xml with notepad?

Hello,

You would need to search for avignet_dream in index.php and the xml file. You can use notepad to do the editing.

Thank you Mike. I read that earlier.  However, on index.php there is more than avignet_dream. Do I have to change all of them. Another question: how to change the text  " April 2010 Club Template"?
