This may be a dumb question -- but the "Banned Text" field of Contacts -- how is this best handled?

The list of banned words is extensive. I did a search across the Shape 5 forum and elsewhere on the Internet. The best I found was to separate the [single] banned word with a semi-colon (example: badword;differentbadword;anotherbadword . What about a "banned phrase"?

I tried doing a search for an extension ... I did not find anything.

I've worked web sites for years -- we always had a way to protect incoming email from foul language. Can someone explain how this is handled within Joomla?

Thanks!!!

Hello,

If you are working with the default joomla contact form, I am not aware of a way to do that. At least I've never come across it. There may be a third party spam plugin available at extensions.joomla.org to do this.
