Hi. I am using the construction template for my site. I have been helped by a friend who set everything up on the server and I have been teaching myself how to use Joomla! to customise my site.
It's been a steep learning curve the past few months!
The site has the basis for what I want to do, so now I can slowly change it bit by bit.
It's my first web site building experience but I have to say the whole Shape5 and Joomla setup has worked really well. I get quite a few comments from friends who say how professional it all looks ha ha!

Any comments or suggestions from you guys on improving the site much appreciated.

Regards,
Pete.

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I have only changed the scrolling images so far and I'll be updating them too when I get a bit more proficient with photoshop and have a bit more time. I intend to change the main wallpaper image in the background to something similar but to at least make it more personal. The template layout doesn't need much changing for me, just got to get some content on the site which takes time!
Cheers,
Pete.

I've now added a lightbox plugin for my drawings to pop out a bit nicer under my work examples.
I had played around with the coding way of getting pop out images (first image under green roof blog) but was finding it a bit difficult and time consuming to figure out!
I do prefer the way that they look in the coded version though as the images can pop out from within the text rather than all sitting in one location.
Any ideas as to an easier way of adding pop out code in my articles?
I also found out through trial and error that there can be only one google map on a single page. I was trying to add two to my home page and it just wouldn't work until I searched for an answer!
Cheers.
P.
