I am a new user to Shape5. Your templates are great and I have been working with Sienna for Joomla 2.5.

I have been so excited about taking advantage of your fun extensions for a real estate website I'm making for a client. But they use EZ Realty and I just loaded it today in the template.

Everything seems to be working fine except Google maps. EZ Realty displays a Google map for each listing, but this feature breaks when applied to my Shape5 template. I have been in contact with Kathy at EZ Realty and she says she looked into this problem for another client using a Shape5 template, and after hours of research she could not find the answer.

She said it seems that something in the Shape5 template is breaking Google maps.

Do you happen to have any knowledge of this issue, and is there any chance you have found a workaround? I really love your templates but I need them to work with Google maps and EZ Realty.

Hello,

If the issue is only occurring on the component pages this is an issue with the component breaking the template, not the template's issue. There is nothing in our templates that would override a component feature such as this. The developers of the component would need to debug this for you, we cannot debug third party code.

Hi Mike,
I'm not sure if this helps. But I really want to use your new templates with mobile device support. I have been trying all your templates from the top down, and they suddenly start working with EZ Realty starting with AppWonder on May 2012.

I tried AppWonder, Shenandoah and RealEstate and they all work with EZ Realty. But I really wanted the ability to use your new features in the templates made after May 2012, that is the only reason I purchased a membership with Shape5.

Does that help narrow down why Google maps get broken in the templates?
