Hi,  I'm new to Joomla and new to Shape5.  At the beginning of this week I knew zero about Joomla (I'm at about 10% now!)  I wanted/needed a responsive site and today with the release of the new corporate template I decided to take the plunge!

I have a number of domains and the plan is to build the site on a domain that I don't use, then move it to the permanent domain when it's ready.

Is it possible and how difficult will it be?

Thanks!

Hello,

It's really easy with Joomla. Just install it in your temporary location, then when you're ready just move all the files via ftp and export/import the database. The only thing you need to configure is configuration.php in the root of the site to point to the new folder/url names and if your database settings changed. And that's it.
