I have spent good money with Shape 5 and used several of their products, with out too many issues. Recently my renewal subscription (1 yr) expired. I just updated my Joomla to 2.5.4 and now when the Login or Register button on my paradigm_shift template is clicked, all the links and Flex Menu go dead on the page. I only get functionality of everything if I reload the page. What I am disappointed in is I am not able to get any information through the forum about this template. Everything comes back saying it has been moved to the Paradigm Shift Club. And that is off limits to me now that my non free membership has elapsed. Shape 5 needs to open up the forums and not force people to keep paying a membership to get info regarding a template they have purchased.

We give you access to all templates for 49.99 at our lowest price.  Lots of companies will get you 1 template for that price but we give you access to any template you desire to download and just say dont use it on more than 1 domain with this 49.99 price.  So with our memberships you have access to all club products.  Then also you get full support during the membership period.   This also is how most other clubs run too.  We believe this is a pretty fair deal and its how we've setup our business model so unfortunately we can't give support to someone with a free status on a club product.

I understand your business model is to make money. I just don't think it should be at the expense of former paid members that want to research issues with a product they paid for. I am not asking for support, I was just wanting to research previous issues and solutions on the paradigm template through the forum. You should not lock down the forum to paid members only. There are many companies out there that produce products for Joomla, and the paid versions usually come with support, while the free versions they only allow you to search the forums for answers. You need to open up your forums or stand a chance at loosing repeat business...
