Hello,

today I have started to use IE8 and have now problems with the S5 No-MooMenu. It works only if I activate the IE7-Modus in the new browser.
I must change now the the menu to suckerfish - that works.
Do you know about this problem with IE8 and your scripts Huh

Greetings,
Creekhail

Hello, IE8 is still in beta and should not be viewed as a finished product. Once a full, stable, W3C compliant version of the browser is released we will test our products in the new version.

Hello Mikek,

sorry, but since last week IE8 is no beta anymore. That's why I started to work with it. Because my sitevisitors will use this new browser I must try it, too.

Look at the microsoft page, they released IE8 as stable.

I use the Eden Rock template, but it is not template specific. It is a problem with the S5 No-MooMenu.
You only have to look at your demosite of Eden Rock (or someone, that use the No-MooMenu, too). It has the same problem. There are no submenues anymore, if you use the IE8 in native mode.

Hello, Eden Rock is now updating and the new version is currently uploading to the downloads section. We're currently working on the others. 1 down about 30 to go! Thank you Microsoft!   Smiley

Hi Mike - when you update a template with these issues to fix your bugs and those of Microsoft - I would find it helpful if you did versioning numbers or date of last update.
When I develop a site and find problems it would be vry helpful to compare date of last download and date of last update.
Cheers

I uploaded the lastest ednenrock files to my site but now get this
Notice: Undefined property: remositoryFile::$null in C:\wamp\www\components\com_remository\v-classes\remositoryFileInfoHTML.php on line 169

Using IE7 J1.5.9 - reverted to old files - all OK

Hello, that error is referring to your remository component, not the template.

If you have any additional questions please post them in the Eden Rock forum board.
