I would like to know what all has to be changed so if someone did a view source check they wouldn't be able to know what my real template name is.

Hello, the source will always have to show what the direct name of the template is, even if you rename the template itself.

yes and that's fine, but I rather be able to rename the template so if someone views the soruce it will show another name or the church name that i'm doing the site for and if someone want to know what it is, then they will have to contact me, by doing that then I can tell someone where I got it and direct them to you guys who who ever template i'm using....to many sites out there that steal your work and give it out for free and when someone do a search those sharing sites tend to come up more than the real site.

You would need to edit the template's index.php, template_details.xml file and any css file and do a find replace for the current template name and replace it with the new one. But back up your current template's folder first.
