Hi,

I've installed Live Search module on a Yootheme template and it's not working...
When typing a word in the search box, nothing comes up, it looks like it's "searching" but no results.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hello, I am sorry the module is giving you problems, however support for club products is only given to active club members. You will need to renew your membership and post in the live search forum board to receive support.

Hello,

If you installed then it would show in the module manager in the backend of Joomla. you need to publish it to the search position.

I can't find the s5 live search inside the module manager. The module is installed, but don't appear in the module list.

I used site shpaer installation and no appear, also used manual installation of the module and still not appearing.

Hello,

If it's not in the module manager when you click the New button, then the module is not installed. All installed modules will appear there.

Ok, the s5 live search appears when I click in new.

Now, when I put the s5 live seach in the "search" position of the template, (previously unpliblishing the default joomla searching module)  the entire site breaks down and show's this error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getCfg() on a non-object in D:\Hosting\944XXX\html\viurexweb\modules\mod_s5_live_search\tmpl\default.php on line 3

Hello,

When you installed the module did you copy over the file to the template's html folder? There is a readme.txt file in the module's zip file that explains to copy this over. If that wasn't copied over this error will show.

There's no readme.txt file inside the .zip of the mod_s5_live_search. And I don't understand what files need to copy and where.

I copied the mod_s5_live_search folder into the template html folder, but this error message appears when I try to access my website (with the s5 live search published, instead the default search engine):

Fatal error: Call to a member function getCfg() on a non-object in D:\Hosting\9463421\html\viurexweb\modules\mod_s5_live_search\tmpl\default.php on line 3

Hello,

I'm sorry it's called Install Instructions.txt and it is in there. The file you should have downloaded is called UNZIP_FIRST_mod_s5_live_search_current.zip

Hello,

I'm sorry it's called Install Instructions.txt and it is in there. The file you should have downloaded is called UNZIP_FIRST_mod_s5_live_search_current.zip

The file I was downloaded is:

Shape5 Aurora Down Extensions.

And inside it, it's a .zip called mod_s5_live_search.zip. It's no .txt file inside it and I have no instructions.

Where I can download the version of s5 live search that you are talking about?
