Hi guys,

I'm really impressed with the quality of the designs here and I'm deeply thinking of joining as a member.

My goal (in brief): is to create a small gaming community which would include forums.

However, I would like to know if the templates comes with forums.

If not any recommendation to how?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks Smiley

Currently the only template that comes with a theme for a forum is the Elegance template.  You can easily install a forum in any Joomla site though.  Check out http://www.kunena.com/

Thanks for the reply and answer.

I'm a little bit confused.

I never used SMF but could I just intall SMF, configure it and link it to a button on a Shape 5 template?

"Forum" Button and when someone hits it it directs them to the ftp url where SMF is installed

Would that work or am I missing something?

Yes correct that would work, you could have it inside a wrapper or you could get the bridge plugin for Joomla so that your Joomla users are directly tied into your SMF ones.
