Hello, I installed the free vertex template, and the other free modules or plugins into my new clean joomla! 2.5.1. and it is one big disaster. Nothing really works. The simple menu, which is set to hroizontal comes vertical. The template, whatever you do, will not center (fixed or fluid). Module Image and Content fader installs but never comes up where ever you install in type of position. I de-installed it, what a disaster, specially as you promote it as template for joomla! 2.5

Though the best reponsive for Joomla ever. But you guys seriously need to take care of new ipad problem. Real flexible with options of hiding modules is basically awesome. I wish there is an option to hide entire column when reaches for a specific pixel. (like hide right coloumn when it is 1200 px) Thank you guys for that amazing framework and template

The responsive layout has been fully tested in iPads. Responsive layouts are not specific to a device. If the areas are not hiding with hide_1200 then the screen's resolution width is larger than that. 1200 is though is very large number to be hiding elements, especially a column. The hide classes really should be used primarily for smaller devices, where it is harder to fit all the content into a more narrow area. hide_1200 would hide your content on most laptops and desktops as well.

I installed Virtuemart 2.XXX... But a VM link/icon isn't showing up on the admin component drop down menu. It says the component is active in my extension manager, but I cannot navigate to it. Not sure if that's user error or an FYI bug. A link to the K2 component does show up.

Please do not double post your comments. We already responded to this exact post on another page two days ago: Hello, Our product support is on the same cycle as Joomla themselves, as are most templates clubs. Meaning, as long as Joomla still support 2.5 we will be creating 2.5 templates. Until then we will not be creating a stand alone 3.0 install of our products. There is no need for one when the patch is available, and it is very simple to apply. Having multiple downloads for a 2.5 product and 3.0 with the patch applied makes things very complicated for updating the products, and is extremely confusing for our members when they need to download a product. We have been through several Joomla conversions over the years, and we feel that the single "current" package that we offer is the best approach. We have a lot of 3.0 products available, and not only that we are one of the few clubs who has moved totally away from mootools, to use strictly the core jquery from Joomla 3.0 in our templates and extensions. A full list of the 3.0 products is on the compatibility pages that I listed above.

Wow! Still a Joomla novice myself, I have been trying to update my websites to work with mobile devices and look a bit more clean/modern in the process. I was expecting some hassle with the move but so far (don't want to tempt fate here
 ) this has been great, pretty easy to tweak with lots of positions that just work - it even lets me do silly things like put an image rotator in the logo or banner position Vertex is an outstanding Template - Thank You for creating and sharing

BIG Thumbs Up for the vertex theme, I'm a Joomla novice and have tried a number of templates from different designers and vertex out preforms them all. Customizing the template to suit my needs was made easy by your well laid out CSS sheets and documentation (well done guys). Finally something that works straight out of the box  Thank you guys for that awesome framework and template.
