: Trying to use SiteShaper on FusedNetwork Cpanel
: daytona4me February 22, 2010, 02:00:22 PM
I'm trying to install using the SiteShaper at fusednetwork via their cpanel.

I've uploaded all the SiteShaper content to a directory on the server.
I've went to cpanel, using installetron tried to install joomla (upgrading from an existing install is the only option other than to simply install it fresh, not using site shaper)
Problem is when I get to the database part, the only error that I'm getting is at the table prefix.
The new database has no tables in it therefore there are no prefix available. I try to input jos_ as the tutorial says to do but that does not work.  I do not know sql so I'm a little lost when this failed.  Just trying to feel my way around and fix it myself I tried to import the sql dump but it failed using phpmyadmin.   I really dont know what to do and I'm hoping to not have to setup the site from scratch.  I like the way the demo has things layed out and I can never usually make it look that good.

Never mind,  I worked through it.  Figured it out..

For future users,  I installed joomla,,  then uninstalled it except for the database, then I did an install again using the "Import existing install" added the correct sql admin info ,  made sure the paths were correct, finished the install.  I then navigated through my browser, the new install path, it gave me the joomla install console, after a couple of clicks I was up and running without a problem.

Hope to never have another problem again,,  :)
