No matter what i try i cannot get the 3 spotlight news articles to display as per the demo, IE image and paragraph and then read more. I am getting borders on images on some, none of the images line up! and then i am getting no words or 1 word then read more. Its a mess

I am absolutely pulling my hair out ive changed each of the spotlights 50 times, the images are the same size as the demo spotlight news articles.

No matter what i do i cant sort this, when editing i even copied over the original image and text in the tiny editor.

I am using IE 8 to edit and have spent a day on this and nothing i do even gets one of the spotlights right let alone all 3!

Even worse when you look at the page in IE and Mozilla they are both wrong and both messed up

This looks extremely bug filled

I have removed the 3 spotlight news items that were in the middle of the page as they were completely ruining the page. But i would like to use them and be able to edit them and use them in future without them ending up all out of line and not working.

I have used shape5 before so know how to edit modules etc. These just completly render wrong and i would like a fix please. Also the tiny mce editor seems to not have all the options that it normally has in other jommlas sites. Its tiny mce but for eg fot colour size / box settings for images and a few others are missing and the photo upload part of the tiny editor is different.

I am going to bed and have been on this for 10-12 hours its fairly distressing.

I will look in later. All i want is the 3 spotlight news things working as in demo and able to be edited without them rendering wrong .. all 3 of them not just one.

So theres a big problem, none of them render correctly.

Hello, I would need to be able to see the module live to determine what is wrong, please publish the module and articles back to your site.

I unplublished it as i wanted it to look the same as it does in the demo.. thats all i want i thought i explained my problem , it was completely screwed so i unpublished it and have so far suffered not having this feature. I do want it though.

Now i have used the tab show and all of the text is going off the page on the right hand side in firefox and IE. What is the fix for this.

I am a bit dissapointed there are so many bugs, almost everything i try to do has some error.

If i can get the spotlightnews working and the tab show not running off the page and squashing the final words on the right we should be sorted.


What is incredible is i have deleted the sportlight news with the pictures in as per demo, published the other spotlight news (without pictures) The 3 titles do not line up straight and its only publishing 3 words and ignoring the rest :(

Hello, if you can private message me super admin access I can look into the tab show for you. However, the spotlight news I see no issues with it. You have reduced the text to almost no text at all in each of these, I need to see the exact text you had so I can see what problems you are having.
