After logging in the button still says login. I would expect it to switch to either "welcome user" and or switch to "logout." My users have no way of easily telling if their logged in or not.. is this how the template was designed or do i have an issue here.

Hello,

If you are referring to the link that says Login that you click for the popup window that cannot change, that pulls from the module's title. The actual module inside the popup will show a logout button. The only thing you can do is change the title of the module to Login/Logout
