: Security- can Spammers Use My Tell A Friend : patchespal May 16, 2008, 10:59:12 PM Are spammers able to use my Tell A Friend email system? Is there a way to add Captcha? One system I read about uses a hidden field that if a Bot fills it will not send the email. I have been looking to see if this component is secure and would like to know if it is. I love the system and would prefer to allow public access to it.

I also had to disable it, because of that problem. Unless there is Captcha in it, security on your website will be compromised.
