: A few pre-sale questions : quiet July 09, 2010, 01:18:03 AM Ok, so I am a little confused on how this works. I currently own a website, and it is a gaming website with different game sections. Example (not actual games on the site): Halo and Call of Duty. I am using Joomla on these sections, and I am looking for a different theme for each section. I come across Shape5.com, and see some incredible looking themes. I decide to buy the Standard Joomla 1 Year plan for 69$ with 3 domains.
Exactly what can I do with this? Can I choose any theme I want, from the past or future, and put it on one of my game sections. How many themes am I limited to? It says I can have up to 3 domains, but I only have 1, but I want to use multiple themes on it. If I only use this 1 domain, can I use as many themes as I want, or am I limited to them? For you guys to understand better, this is what I am trying to do. I am opening a gaming website with multiple games, and need different themes for each game section, and I want to know how Shape5 can help me achieve this. Also, each section is a separate Joomla installation, and is on a sub domain. I hope you guys understand what I am asking, I am really interested in Shape5 Themes, but need some questions answered first ;) : Re: A few pre-sale questions : mikek July 09, 2010, 07:20:08 AM Hello,
If your pages are separate sub domains ie: halo.gamesite.com, quake.gamesite.com, these are considered separate installations and would each count as a domain use. If they are simply pages with their own template assigned to them ie: www.gamesite.com/halo, www.gamesite.com/quake these are all pages of one domain and would collectively count as one domain use. : Re: A few pre-sale questions : quiet July 09, 2010, 10:46:51 AM Alright, but how many Theme's do I get? If I have 3 domains, do I get 3 themes? I know with 3 domains, I can only use them 3 times, but how many theme's am I allowed to use?
And all theme's can be used on Joomla 1.5 and 1.6? : Re: A few pre-sale questions : mikek July 09, 2010, 04:18:55 PM Hello,
You may download as many themes as you like but the you are limited to how many domains you sign up for. If all of your themes are installed on the same domain and you simply assign a theme to specific pages then you may use as many as you need and this counts as one domain use. : Re: A few pre-sale questions : quiet July 09, 2010, 04:23:11 PM Alright, 1 last question.
Say I buy the 69$ plan, but later in the future, I expand my website and need more then 3 domains, can I upgrade my account to the unlimited plan, and if I did, would it cost the full 109$ or just the difference between the 2 plans? Or would it be better to buy the 109$ plan in the beginning? Also, say I have 3 Joomla Installations, but they are all being ran off of 1 database, would that count as 1 or 3 domains? : Re: A few pre-sale questions : mikek July 09, 2010, 08:23:44 PM Hello,
When you are ready to upgrade simply send an email to [email protected] and we will provide you with a coupon code equal to the amount of time that is left on your current membership to be applied to your upgrade. A domain is classified as any installation of Joomla, not the database, so this would count as 3 separate domain usages. |
